Nigeria Court Confirms the Legal Import of a Co-Owner’s Assignment of Copyright in a Composite Work
The Federal High Court has ruled in favour of Netflix Inc. and Starco TV3 Limited, affirming that a copyright license granted by one co-owner is binding on all co-owners. This decision simplifies the licensing process for streaming platforms and content creators.
