The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has released fresh Guidelines on Corporate Governance for the communications industry, repealing the 2016 Code and ushering in a new era of accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership.

Developed in line with the Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance 2018 and CAMA 2020, the Guidelines set a higher bar for board structure, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance reporting. They reflect the NCC’s commitment to building a resilient communications sector that inspires investor confidence, protects consumers, and supports sustainable innovation in Nigeria’s digital economy.
