My Time as a DOA Intern by Joy Elijah

From the moment I learnt that my internship application at Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe was approved, I had many expectations which were all met. This opportunity availed me with a platform to learn without limits, be outspoken, and proffer solutions to legal issues surrounding various practice areas.

I got assigned tasks and got immense exposure to new laws and regulations in different areas of law. I was mentored by seasoned and new associates, and despite their busy schedules, they never failed to take time out to teach, answer my questions, and be a guiding hand for tasks assigned to me.

What I experienced during my short time at DOA has and will forever be impactful to my journey in the legal profession. I am earnestly grateful for the insight I have gained during the course of this internship, and I mostly appreciate the assistance and knowledge provided by the entire DOA team throughout this Internship.
